McIntosh Leaves New PHD
Andrew McIntosh, media intelligence manager at New PHD, has been poached by Flextech. McIntosh takes up his new position as research and market intelligence controller on April 21.
Media Solutions has also been out poaching, John Carter, director of planning at WCRS joins the company next month as a managing partner. Peter Williamson, currently MD and Andrew Napier, currently broadcast director at Media Solutions are also to become managing partners.
Over in the Press, Mark Hollinshead, group marketing director of Midland Independent Newspapers, has been promoted to managing director of Midland Weekly Media; he will oversee 18 Midland free sheets. Denise West, MIN’s group marketing managing, is to takeover as group marketing director.
There has also been some changes in the broadcasting industry, Tim Schoonmaker, chief executive of Emap Radio has handed day to day control of business to a new managing director, Dee Ford. Ford, currently MD of Emap Radio Yorkshire takes up the new role on 1 April. Schoonmaker will be concentrating on the group’s TV interests.
