National Newspaper NRS – May 1998
All but three national newspapers lost readership year on year during the NRS period December ’97 – May ’98. The Times was the only title to gain a significant number of readers, up 9.88%. The only other titles which do not report a fall are the Mirror and the Express On Sunday.
All other titles lost readers, most notably the Sunday Mirror down by 6.22%. The Independent continues to suffer losses, down by 13.94% for this period.
