New Internet Title To Launch

Paragon Publishing is set to launch a new beginner’s guide to the Internet on 9th September. Internet Made Easy is aimed at new computer users who are taking, or who about to take, their first steps into cyberspace. It will, claims Paragon, “set out to encourage novices to use their computer, access the Internet, and make them feel more comfortable about doing so”.

Internet Made Easy will be on sale monthly from issue 2. Paragon’s strategy is to specifically target the new Internet user market. According to Geoff Harris, Managing Editor of Paragon’s Internet titles, “Getting on the Net is now one of the first things people want to do after they’ve bought a computer, and Internet Made Easy will help them understand their PC or Mac as well as the Internet as a whole.”

Internet Made Easy, is viewed by Paragon, as an ideal compliment to its existing Internet magazine portolio of Internet @ccess, Windows Made Easy and Practical Internet titles, which are aimed at more experienced computer users. (For analysis of the Internet magazine market, see Newsline)

Internet Made Easy will be 100 pages in length, carry a £1.99 cover price and have an initial print-run of 68,000.
