Amra Takes Over Scottish & Universal Sales

Regional sales house, Amra, has taken over representation of the Scottish & Universal Newspapers (S&UN) titles across its London and Manchester offices as from today. Advertising on the S&UN papers, which are owned by Trinity International, was previously sold through Mediaforce.

Since Trinity bought Amra in November last year (see Trinity Acquires Amra) it has been gradually moving all its newspaper sales over to Amra; S&UN is the latest group to make this change. Amra’s managing director, Lisa Bourne, says: “S&UN already demonstrates a serious commitment in Scotland, through an on-going investment in research and development into the readers and the region – a growing marketplace with enormous potential.”

Alongside this Amra has announced three new appointments to its Manchester sales team – Janet Britton and Paul Smith join as sales executives. Also, Sally Pearson joins from Regional Independent Newspapers as account manager.
