Millward Brown makes new senior digital hire

As it looks to strengthen its digital proposition, Millward Brown has appointed Jane Ostler as managing director of media and digital.

Ostler, who joins from Digital Radio UK where she was communications and marketing director, will be responsible for driving growth for brands and advising them on increasing marketing efficiency and effectiveness.

She will join Millward Brown’s UK leadership team and report into regional managing director Dale Beaton.

“Our clients have moved on from thinking about digital marketing to holistic marketing in the digital age,” said Beaton. “Digital is no longer one thing that marketers manage, it’s the cornerstone of everything they do.

“Jane brings extensive expertise in driving forward some of the most significant digital programmes that we’ve seen in the UK, and so we’re excited to have her on board to help our clients deliver effective marketing campaigns that have digital left, front and centre.”

Ostler, who has also held digital roles at JWT, Mindshare and Ogilvy, added: “It’s great to be joining Millward Brown at such an exciting time of change in consumer communication and technology development and to ensure we offer world-class insights for clients to guide their strategies, whether this is mobile, 360 campaign effectiveness or channel optimisation.”
