McAnena Named as Mediaedge:CIA CEO

Fiona McAnena is to be CEO of the newly merged Mediaedge:CIA, while James Whitmore will be managing director. However, the management restructure taking place will see the departure of the heads of broadcast for both companies, Tim Neligan and Edward Lloyd-Barnes.

The merger of the media communications companies was announced earlier this week (see

McAnenena and Whitmore have yet to name their management line up, but have confirmed that Neligan and Lloyd-Barnes are to leave: “The agency will be led by client and brand needs, delivered through media” said McAnena. “Broadcast is a key expertise which will be fully integrated into the client-facing groups, where we have great strength in depth.”
