ILR Applicants/Ulster Advertised

The Radio Authority is to advertise an ILR licence for Cookstown and Magherafelt, in Mid-Ulster. The licence is for an AM service. The closing date for applications is Tuesday 17 May 1994, and the results should be announced three months later.

There were four applications for the re-advertised local Leicester licences;

For both FM and AM licences:

• Leicester Sound Ltd (Incumbent)

For the FM licence only:

For the AM licence only:

• Sabras Sound Ltd – Don Kotak 0533 533991

Only one application was received for the Inverness area ILR, from the existing licensee:

• Moray Firth Radio Ltd.
