Future closes PSW magazine

Specialist publisher Future Publishing has closed PSW magazine, with the last issue now on sale.

Future said that it hopes to find placements elsewhere at the company for the five staff at magazine.

Future began publishing PSW after it purchased Computec Media in 2003 for £3.2 million. The magazine launched in September 1999.

The latest ABC figures for PSW – for July to December 2009, show that it enjoyed a good six month period.

Its circulation was up 10.5% year on year, giving it a total figure of more than 24,000 copies.
