IPC has announced it is to launch a new monthly magazine, Muzik, aimed at the growing dance music market.
Muzik, with a cover price of £2.20 will be, claim IPC, ‘a dance magazine catering for the post-rock generation that has grown up with clubs, not gigs.’ Publishing Director, Andy McDuff, said,’Up until now, dance music fans have had to wade through a plethora of titles, from the style magazines to the rock press, to find the information that they need. Muzik will provide the editorial authority and attitude of NME and Meloday Maker, and the style and flair of Loaded.’
Muzik goes on sale on May 10 and will be distributed by Marketforce. It has an advertiser’s guarantee of 33,000. Mono page: £995 Colour page: £1385
