Separate Copy Clearance For Radio Ads
The Radio Authority has accepted the proposal from the Association of Independent Radio contractors to establish a separate copy clearance mechanism for radio advertisements.
The Radio Advertising Clearance Centre is to be established initially from 1st June 1996 on a trial basis for a month. It is then planned that the centre will be established fully from 1st July. From this date the RACC will assume the radio copy clearance function currently exercised by the Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre (BACC).
More information should be available in May.
