Flexing Its Marketing Muscle

Flextech Television has announced its new sales and marketing department that will be responsible for the company’s multi-channel venture with the BBC.

It is reported that Richard Burdett, currently the vice-president of sales and marketing at Flextech, is to become vice-president of marketing. He will be taking on a greater marketing brief and will become responsible for UK Gold and Living, the existing channels which both the BBC and Flextech have an interest, as well as any new joint-venture channels. While, Tony Wheble, Flextech’s sales controller, is reported to be about to become the vice-president of sales, his portfolio will be the same as Burdett’s.

The deal with the BBC concerning further channels is close to the final handshake, it is thought that the deal will be confirmed withn the next few days.
