Record Sales For The BBC

BBC Worldwide has announced record international sales for 1996 to 1997. The BBC’s commercial arm reported a 20% year-on-year increase in its programme sales and distribution business for the year ending 1996 to 1997. Bob Phillis, chief executive of BBC Worldwide, announced an un-audited programme sales figure of £112.1 million.
