A new web audit by ABC //electronic has confirmed that BBC Online (http://www.bbc.co.uk/) is still the UK’s most-visited site. During October the website recorded 46,779,865 page impressions, the majority of which were accessing the Corporation’s news pages.
Head of BBC Online, Mark Frost, said: “These figures demonstrate the enormous demand for a public service BBC Online and confirm the approval we have won from both licence payers and the Government to develop Online as a home for all UK internet users in the new millennium.”
