In conjunction with its World Cup promotions (see The Times To Offer World Cup Supplements), The Times has reduced its weekday cover price to 30p. It was previously 35p.
This offer is to run throughout the World Cup and the price may or may not be increased after the competition is finished. A spokesperson for News International said that they had not decided whether to keep the new price and that it was being reviewed all the time.
The Saturday edition of the paper will remain priced at 50p.
