The Retail Price Index for November 1993 has been announced this morning. Inflation remains unchanged at 1.4% The rate has now been below 2% for 12 months; this is the lowest run since 1960.
The actual figure taking 1985 as the base rate is 149.67. This represents a decrease of 0.1% on October 1993.
