The launch of Granada Sky Broadcasting’s (GSB) Breeze cable and satellite channel on 1 May (see GSB Aims To Create Top Women’s Channel) is being promoted with a £1 million marketing campaign which started this week.
Presenters of two of the channel’s shows, Leslie Ash and Julia Carling, are starring in 30-second TV advertisements produced by GSB’s promotions director John Leggett. These ads are being broadcast on ITV as well as satellite and cable channels. The launch of the channel is also being supported by promotions in the national press, TV listings and women’s magazines.
