First Media Question Time Attracts Powerful Panel

A talented and powerful panel of leading media figures has accepted invitations to take part in MediaTel’s inaugural Media Question Time to be held at the BBC Radio Theatre, Broadcasting House on the evening of Monday 24 May.

Presented in association with the Economist, the event will be chaired by BBC Radio media correspondent, Torin Douglas. He will be directing the discussions of panelists Stephen Grabiner, chief executive of ONdigital; Kelvin MacKenzie, chairman and chief executive of Talk Radio; Ray Snoddy, media editor at the Times; Christine Walker, managing partner at Walker Media and Bob Wootton, director of media and advertising affairs at ISBA.

Similar in format to the BBC TV series, Media Question Time will focus on key current and future media issues and an invited audience from the advertising and media industry will have the opportunity to ask questions from the floor and join the debate.

Commenting on the event, MediaTel’s managing director, Derek Jones, said: “MediaTel is best known as a provider of media intelligence and media software, but we hope that we are as aware as anyone of the ever changing bigger picture. Media Question Time will provide a great opportunity for lively debate and, with a panel as good as this, we should be in for a highly entertaining evening as well.”

Media Question Time is an invitation only event. However, edited highlights of the evening will be available on this website the following day.
