Mollin’s Shape Launch Backed By Poster Campaign

Mollin Publishing this week launches Shape, a new health and fitness title for women which is based on the US magazine Health & Shape. In November last year, Mollin acquired the rights to produce UK versions of two Weider Publications titles: Health & Shape and Men’s Health (see US Titles Due For UK Launch).

Shape, which is a monthly glossy title aimed at 25-35 year old women, goes on sale this Friday, 9 April. The initial print run is to be 200,000 and the first issue has a cover price of £1; the normal price is £2.30. The health, fitness and beauty magazine is to be edited by Sharon Walker, former editor of Nexus Communications’ Health & Fitness title.

The launch is being supported by a poster campaign created by St Luke’s and bought by MediaCom/TMB. The poster features the line: “New Shape magazine gives you the confidence equivalent of 6˝ flirtatious encounters.”
