Mirror Survives In Sun War

The Daily Mirror is claiming a rise in sales of 2% despite the cover price war brewing between itself and The Sun. Sales for the latter have yet to witness a dramatic increase with a modest rise yesterday of 220,000. Shares in the Sun have risen 1p to 216p, Daily Star and Daily Express (United Newspapers) fallen to 521p (-14p). Mirror Group Newspapers saw a decrease from 153p to 151p at the close yesterday.
