Rivals.net Signs Up IBM

Rivals.net, the Chrysalis owned network of sports websites, has signed a five figure deal with IBM to sponsor its Ryder Cup coverage.
The deal will see IBM take full sponsorship of the Rivals.net golf site, Tee-2-Green, and includes banner ads and branded screen savers.
Rivals.net sales executive, Mark Wright, said: “Rivals.net will be closely following the Ryder Cup coverage and by this association with IBM, we will ensure that they are front of mind in a highly targeted market.
Rivals.net, which has been at the forefront of the campaign to introduce a recognised auditing system for the new media industry (see Rivals.net Heads Campaign For Internet Industry Audit), was visited by over a million unique users in July, according to ABC Electronic (see Rivals.net Scores Over A Million Users).
