Mediatel Connected launches updated Consumer Surveys module

Mediatel launches its updated Consumer Surveys module, a search engine for consumer tech and media trends.

Taking its lead for the development from feedback across the media industry, the updated module provides swift insights into consumer behaviour.

With a suite of nickable charts for every survey question, and the ability to choose demographic and media audiences with a couple of clicks, users can quickly access charts and tables of data for their chosen audience or query.

Reach percentages, audience profiles, indices, trends and rebasing allow further interrogation of the data to give users exactly the answers they and their clients need.

Consumer Surveys contains five key UK media surveys, each providing unique and valuable information on how the UK behaves around media and technology.

  • RAJAR’s MIDAS – provides context and insight into how, when and where audio content is being consumed, including device usage, activities and location
  • BARB’s Establishment Survey – the prime source of television population information in the UK
  • Ofcom’s Technology Tracker – measures awareness, access, use of and attitudes towards fixed and mobile telecoms, internet, multi-channel TV, and radio

Plus, two exclusive tracking surveys only available within Consumer Surveys – Mediatel’s Connected Screens and Video & Voice, run by YouGov.

  • Mediatel’s Connected Screens – this well respected survey has been tracking UK consumers’ behaviour around screens since 2014 and provides fascinating trends on which screens people have access to and what they’re doing on them
  • Video & Voice – run exclusively by YouGov for Mediatel, this tracker looks at the disruptors in the voice and video market. It includes adoption of voice assistants and smart speakers, as well as consumer take up of VOD brands and digital audio services

Consumer Surveys is a module within Mediatel Connected, a subscription service used by the majority of the main media agencies and media owners as well as universities, banks and analysts to quickly and easily generate insights on the UK media market.
