Hearts & Science UK has appointed Jo Cooke as its new chief development officer. Cooke joins from Omnicom Media Group UK where she held the role of managing partner for new business and marketing.
In her new role, Cooke will be responsible for developing growth strategies for the agency across clients, new business, agency services as well as people and culture.
Prior to joining OMG UK in 2017, Cooke held global roles in video games, entertainment and technology businesses, including chief marketing officer of Phillips (amBX) Technology Incubator and global director of marketing and ecommerce at Frontier Publishing.
“Over the past three years, Hearts & Science has grown into one of the leading UK media agencies, topping the Campaign New Business League Table for the first five months of last year,” said Cooke.
“In my new role, I will continue to drive this growth and help to shape Hearts & Science further as a future-facing media and agency delivering ground-breaking, award-winning marketing services for our clients.
“I will also be taking an active role in helping to develop the careers of the extremely talented staff at Hearts & Science as they continue their journey within the media industry.”

Cooke will sit on the Hearts & Science senior leadership team and report into O’Reilly and chief commercial officer, Mark Swansborough. She starts 6 April.
