Apple is reportedly building an advertising network around its Major League Soccer (MLS) streaming offering.
Sources familiar with the developments told Bloomberg that Apple is hosting discussions with advertising partners and MLS sponsors on displaying ads during MLS matches and on “related shows.”
Earlier this year, Apple purchased the rights to exclusively stream MLS games across the US for $2.5bn over 10 years.
Apple appears intent on growing its advertising business; it has been reported that the company is seeking to double its digital advertising workforce by March 2024.
