Mobile internet access is continuing to rise, according to new figures from the Mobile Data Association (MDA).
According to the MDA, a total of 897 million page impressions were viewed during October 2003 through 02, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone.
The continued growth in WAP useage has been attributed to the continued success of downlaodable ringtones.
The huge numbers of ringtones downloaded each month are contributing to the growth in WAP figures. The MDA’s ‘Top 10 Chart’ of the most popular ringtones downloaded across the four UK network Operators during October is as follows:
