Cuff Leaves Flextech Behind To Pursue New Challenges

Flextech’s executive vice president of commercial, David Cuff, is stepping down after two and a half years at the company to pursue new challenges.

Cuff joined Flextech as commercial director in 2000 and moved into his current role last year. He will leave the company, whose portfolio of TV channels includes Trouble, Bravo and Living TV, at the end of August, with no confirmed job to go to.

Commenting on his departure, Cuff said: “Like most people, I need new challenges and this is why I have decided to leave now. With Flextech in such good health, I feel that I could make a greater contribution elsewhere.”

Opie also credited Cuff with reshaping Flextech’s approach to advertising sales and maximising the commercial value of its channels through a range of carriage negotiations with NTL, Sky and Telewest.

Commercial director, Jon James, will manage the commercial and distribution teams, whilst Lisa Opie will work with both James and Mark Howe, at Interactive Digital Sales, to oversee the commercial and sales strategy going forward.
