FIRST FUNERAL SERVICES ADVERTISED

Grampian Television is to become the first station in the ITV network to transmit advertisements for a firm of funeral directors. The ads will be shown in peak viewing hours and daytime television. Grampian has promised that care will be taken in the positioning of the ads. The ITC rules concerning ads from funeral directors were relaxed two years ago, but David B.Hendry Ltd are the first company to make use of the opportunity.
