IPC is claiming launch issue sales of at least 362,000 for Homes & Ideas, and says that its research points to high sales for its own Ideal Home, and for House Beautiful in October.
Referring to threatened legal action by House Beautiful’s publishers, National Magazines, South Bank Publishing Group MD, Colin Reeves-Smith, comments: “We have every right to launch in this market sector, the launch has benefited the whole sector.” He added that IPC did its pre-launch research into the sector and competition very thoroughly.
