Change In Frequency For Sky Customer Magazines

BSkyB is to reduce the frequency of its four monthly customer magazines, including Skymag.

The four titles – Skymag, Sky Sports Magazine, Sky Movies Magazine and Sky Kids – will move from 12 to 10 issues per year, starting from December.

Skymag is delivered to Sky’s entire subscriber base, giving it a current ABC circulation figure of just under 7.3 million.

The decision to reduce the frequency was taken by BSkyB rather than the magazines’ respective publishers, News Magazines, Haymarket, Future and John Brown.

In another move, Skymag and Sky Movies Magazine are to standardise their sizes to align with the 237mm x 190mm format used by Sky Sports Magazine and Sky Kids.
