Cable Continues Growth
The latest ITC cable statistics show that the spread of cable has been significantly faster in 1994 than last year. The number of new homes to which broadband cable became available was 53% higher in the first nine months of 1994 than in the same period of 1993. The number of people actually subscribing to cable is also increasing, to 780,00, a 50% increase over last year. The latest penetration rate is 21%, an increase of 0.6% points over twelve months.
