ISBA Respond To TV Sales
The Incorporated Society of British Advertisers has objected strongly to the ITC’s letter which was sent to TV companies. It confirmed that the current situation of sales houses could continue, subject to stringent conditions, until the results of the ITC’s review into advertising sales is released.
ISBA called this an “indadequate” arrangement. Kenneth Miles, Director, said “It is not realistic to believe that monopoly decisions about sales policies in two sales houses could be prevented”. ISBA also pointed out that each TV company has a monopoly in its own region.
