The parent group of WPP’s Insight division, Kantar Group, has acquired China’s largest independent market research network, Oracle.
Founded in 1994, Oracle employs 130 people and generated revenues of HK$65 million last year.
The purchase, which follows last month’s acquisitions of Grey Global of America (see WPP Wins Battle For Grey With £845 Million Bid) and a 30% stake in Chinese advertising and marketing group, Newsun Insight (see WPP Buys 30% Stake In Chinese Ad Group Newsun), is the latest in WPP’s expansion strategy,
