Following the news yesterday that Carlton and Central are to combine their airtime sales operations, MAI is to buy the 56% share in TSMS held by Central. MAI acquired the other 44% when it acquired Anglia television last month.
MAI refuses to disclose any details about future sales plans until the ITC review on sales arrangements is issued later this month, although the future of Merlin, the sales house owned by Meridian and HTV must also be in doubt now.
