Clear Channel Outdoor’s worldwide revenue was flat year on year during 2008, although it fell 16% year on year in the fourth quarter.
The company said that declines in France and the UK were partially offset by revenue increases in China, Turkey and Romania, with the decline in the UK primarily driven by “weak advertising demand”.
Parent group CC Media Holdings reported revenue of $6.7 billion in 2008, a 3% year on year dip.
