IPC yesterday inserted a sample of its women’s monthly Essentials into the Daily Mirror. The 16-page tester, based on the November issue, was inserted into around 600,000 copies of the newspaper in the London ITV region.
IPC hopes to increase awareness of the magazine through the sampler, which included a discounted subscription offer for Daily Mirror readers. Yesterday’s edition of the Daily Mirror was chosen for the sampler because of the newspaper’s own Mirror Woman section which appears on Wednesdays.
