The adoption of high-speed internet services continued apace in the US during the second half of last year, with a growth of 23% in the number of lines in use, according to the latest data from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Cable modem remains the most popular high-speed platform, growing by 24% to cover 11.4 million lines in H2. ADSL saw a slightly higher growth rate of 27%, from 5.1 million to 6.5 million lines.
