Talk Radio has announced further changes to programming. Following the acquisition of Simon Bates last week, Talk Radio is to revamp the Drivetime slot bringing in Scott Chisolm, who currently presents UK Today between 1000 and 1300 and co host Lowri Turner, ITV and BBC television presenter.
According to Talk Radio, Drivetime will be an “upbeat, fast moving mix of news information and entertainment for people decompressing from their workday activities.” Tommy Boyd, who currently presents at drivetime will move to the lunchtime slot (1200-1400) to preside over a Radio 2 style show.
Sean Bolger is moving from the breakfast show and will present a woman’s magazine style show (1400-1600). Anna Raeburn will present hear agony aunt slot from 1900-2100.
Moz Dee will present four shows covering travel (Mondays), leisure & Lifestyle (Tuesdays), sport (Wednesdays), showbiz and the media (Thursdays). On Fridays Carol McGiffin will present a Juke Box Jury style show of record reviews.
