TV Revenue & Shares – April
The combined ITV/C4 revenue for April has come in at £178.685m – up 13.2% on the same period last year. The ITV/C4 split came in at 21:79 at £38.24m and £140.447m respectively.
In terms of contractor shares the best year on year performances came from YTTV and Central – up 0.72% points and 0.61% points respectively. Whilst Carlton put in a good performance, up 0.57% points, the overall London Total was brought down by a very bad showing from LWT – down 0.88% points on last year, despite having the same number of trading days in both 1994 and 1995. The 12.30% share achieved by LWT was however its best performance so far this year.
