The Daily Mirror has signed a deal with Channel 4’s Brookside that includes an interactive game card. Mirror readers will receive gamecards featuring silhouettes of characters and a line of dialogue beneath them. On the day of the programme the Mirror will reveal the character; readers could win £5000.
Other games will include Brookside Bingo with a top prize of £30,000. The deal is tied in with the radio promotion of Brookside broadcast on 30 commercial stations across the UK. The thrice weekly radio slot is funded by the Mirror deal and the paper will receive credits at the beginning and end of each broadcast.
