The Saatchi & Saatchi group is to change its name to Cordiant plc. The proposed name change, in a circular sent to Saatchi shareholders today, is meant to express “the new spirit within the company, characterised by accord and shared purpose”.
The main purpose of the name change is to distance the holding company from the subsidiary Saatchi & Saatchi advertising network, which will retain its name.
