The LWT website has been launched on the Internet. The design of the site is very basic at present but there will further additions made to the site. The main sections of the site are:
Gladiators
LWT Action
Talk TV
Press Office
Postcards
The Gladiators section gives browsers detailed information on the Gladiators, the presenters and the games. LWT Action is broken down into a further three sections: Crime Monthly, which gives advice and information on how to help in the fight against crime, The Basement, a discussion of things relevant to Londoners and Disability Action, which offers help and advice for disabled people. Talk TV, which claims to be the UK’s first talk channel, is a combination of news, sport, entertainment and discussion service.
The Press Office and Postcard sections have not yet gone live which makes the site seem very bare. The design of the site is okay, with the Talk TV section probably the best of what’s on offer.
