Sunday Business Hits More Trouble

In the same week that new business paper Sunday Business was threatened with legal action over controversial stories in its dummy issues, it has now emerged that the paper’s printers have pulled out and important financial backers have been lost.

West Ferry Printers were contracted to print the first edition of Sunday Business but the relationship has now broken down: Sunday Business maintain that the Daily Telegraph, who have a share in West Ferry, leaned upon the printers to pull out of the contract whilst other rumours suggest that Sunday Business missed a payment deadline.

It is also believed that Sunday Business has lost an important financial backer. The Hinduja family from Bombay have pulled out of the venture and another potential funder has also dropped out. A source at Sunday Business could not confirm these developments.

Sunday Business is due to be launched this Sunday.
