According to a report in yesterday’s Financial Times, three UK media executives are backing a new cable and satellite channel called Channel 11.
The investors in the channel, which will provide Internet and other interactive services via a television format, are said to be Tim Carron Brown (previously of Anglia Television), Richard Humphreys (former president and joint chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi) and Chris Ingram (chairman and chief executive of CIA Media).
