It is reported that Anna O’Sullivan is to publish Emap Elan’s scheduled women’s magazine, Project Miriam. O’Sullivan, currently a group head at the Times, will join the post on October 6.
The magazine is planned for release next spring and is described as being aimed at women in their thirties who have may have grown too old for Elle but who are not quite old enough for traditional family-orientated titles. O’Sullivan will report to Sue Hawken, managing director of Emap Elan. Advertising manager Rachel Geary has begun discussions with agencies about the project.
