Adwanted launches consulting arm with Work Research

Adwanted UK, parent of The Media Leader, has formed a strategic partnership with Work Research to launch Adwanted Consulting.
The news was first announced earlier in January at The Year Ahead at the Waldorf Hilton, Adwanted and The Media Leader’s annual invite-only New Year kick-off event for the media industry.
Adwanted Consulting aims to provide research, advisory and consulting services to the industry for businesses looking for a competitive edge in an uncertain landscape.
It intends to offer unrivalled expertise and impactful solutions to key challenges facing the industry and help unlock new commercial opportunities.
Work Research is led by Justin Gibbons and Tony Regan, who had long agency careers in strategy, brand and communications. Work Research has more than 16 years’ experience in advising media owners, trade bodies and industry currencies.
The company harnesses a network of senior consultants to suit individual assignments.
Meanwhile, Adwanted head of research Anne Tucker and Adwanted Connected head Rob Laurence bring decades of media research experience. They work across the company’s events, tech, data and editorial functions to provide expert support tailored to individual business needs.
Work Research calls Adwanted Consulting “a comprehensive strategic offering that unlocks bigger and deeper insight into media brands”.
Greg Grimmer, CEO at Adwanted, added: “Due to our ‘unbiased expert’ status, we are often asked by existing industry clients to help them not only with reaching audiences but also defining the messages that they should be giving to their customers.
“Combining our current research nous with the industry’s favourite organisation, Work Research, will provide our existing clients with a consultancy offering that we believe will be unrivalled by competitors both inside and outside the sector.”
