Emap Active has announced that it is to axe 3 titles from its portfolio, and channel more funds into 6 key titles. The titles to be closed are Sported, Photo Answers and Boat Angler.
The group hopes to develop the following six key titles as ‘power brands’: Yours, Motorcycle News, Max Power, Golf World, Computer & Video Games and Total Sport. It is channeling £3 million into the various titles, but no decision has yet been made about an advertising agency.
