Terence Conran Launches New Magazine
Terence Conran launches a new home-interest magazine this Friday. Entitled live-it, it is aimed at the AB adult population living in London and the South-east.
It will be published on a quarterly basis by Axon Publishing with a cover price of £3.25 and will focus on contemporary metropolitan living with articles and features on food and drink, design, interiors, travel, fashion and entertaining.
Editorial director Paul Keers commented on the launch: “The Conran name now has enormous breadth of influence. It suggest a particular contemporary style and discernment, which can reflect editorially across this wide range of subjects.”
The AB’s have been receiving attention recently following the launch of the VIPer report into the habits of this growing sector (see VIPer Research To Offer Advertisers Insight Into Rich And Influential). A feature on Newsline today looked at potential competitors for this new magazine which include Harpers & Queen and Tatler, both of which feature in the Top 10 consumer magazines read by this sector (see Feature: The ABs’ Favourite Magazines).
