Time Inc. UK makes two senior appointments

Meredith and Finlay start in their new roles with immediate effect

Time Inc. UK has appointed Charlie Meredith in the new role of transformation director – with Sam Finlay filling Meredith’s current role as managing director of advertising.

In a statement, the publisher of more than 60 brands, including Country Life, NME and What’s on TV, said Meredith’s appointment was part of a transformation into a “contemporary cross-media network”.

Meanwhile, Finlay will focus on developing the company’s commercial partnerships further, and will be responsible for the central sales operation, including the agency, client and digital brand sales teams.

Both will report to CEO, Marcus Rich, who commented: “I am delighted to be making these appointments. Investing for growth is a critical part of our strategy and with his deep understanding of our business and market leading brands, Charlie is the perfect candidate to help evolve and drive the business to the next level.

“With over 20 years’ experience in the industry and a real passion for our business, Sam is the ideal candidate to lead Time Inc.UK advertising and ensure we are an entrepreneurial and effective commercial partner for our customers.”

Finlay added that Time Inc. UK has made “significant strides” in developing its commercial offering.

“There is a wealth of talent across Time Inc.UK and we will deliver further innovation to the market in the future which will continue to give unique access to our audiences’ through our market leading brands and content,” he said.
