Media Playground 2015: full line-up confirmed

BuzzFeed, Sky Media and Mindshare are just a few of the top names joining Mediatel for the annual Media Playground event next week.

On 11 November industry will gather to discuss the challenges and opportunities for media going forwards – from the Internet of Things, to digital advertising and the future of planning – with the opportunity to get hands-on with new tech in the exhibition hall between sessions.

Join ex-BBC media correspondent Torin Douglas, who will be speaking with BuzzFeed’s general manager of Europe, Kate Burns and Anthony Rose, co-founder and CEO of 6Tribes and former head of BBC iPlayer, while Newsline columnist Dominic Mills will lead the debate between senior agency executives from Maxus, Mindshare and LIDA, and futurist and founder of ANYDAYNOW, Tracey Follows, who will be giving a forward-looking view of the media landscape.

The full-day event will also feature a number of presentations from Trinity Mirror’s director of invention Mark Field, IMGROUP’s Steve Sydee, VisualDNA’s Jim Hodgkins and Jamie West, deputy managing director of Sky Media, who will give exclusive insight into Sky’s new AdVance tech.

Elsewhere, we’ll hear from Decipher’s Nigel Walley, addictive!’s Simon Andrews and Andy Chandler and Brian Danzis of Virool – in addition to a session dedicated to some of the hottest start-ups right now.

The day will finish with networking and a drinks reception.
