October was a strong month for the majority of commercial broadcasters, with just Channel 5 recording a notable decline in revenue.
Down -10.8%, C5’s revenue slipped by £3 million to a little under £26.5 million, while ITV Breakfast was down a small -3.2% (£200,000).
In contrast, Channel 4 was up a healthy 16.5% to £60.6 million, while a 9.6% increase saw ITV 1 surpass the £152 million mark.
Overall total terrestrial (including ITV Breakfast) was up 8.2%, while total satellite was up an impressive 20.4%.
