Commercial Impacts February saw slight increases for ITV in most categories terms of commercial impacts. Housewives and Children fell by 8.3% however in a year-on-year analysis and ABC1 Adults dropped 3.7% compared to February 1999. Channel 4, Channel 5 and Total Satellite, by contrast, saw significant increases in impacts across all audience types.

Costs Per Thousand ITV saw increases in its costs in February 2000; all categories were up compared to last year, with ABC1 Adults rising 11.9% to 2,016p. Channel 4 and Channel 5 saw a fall in costs over all categories, however. The cost of reaching ABC1 Adults on Channel 4 dropped by 3.5%; on Channel 5 this category fell 9.4%.
